Old school elevator, authentic Italian atmosphere, free access to a stylish shared kitchen
A ceiling fan is not an adequate substitute for air conditioning!!! The bathroom lacked a window which made it feel stuffy!!! More attention could be given to soundproofing the rooms!!!

pleasant stay with some minor challenges
The apartment I stayed in was spacious and well-equipped with a functional kitchen. The air conditioning and fans made for a comfortable night despite the heat wave.
Parking is quite tricky due to narrow lanes.

The location is unbeatable—just a two-minute walk to the Duomo, making it easy to explore the city. The private bathroom felt like a lifesaver given the shared facilities throughout the hotel.
Florence's mosquito population is active, so pack bug repellent if you prefer sleeping with the windows open. Although the shared bathroom situation was manageable—clean and accessible—it might not be everyone's cup of tea. Also, in hotter weather, the lack of air conditioning could be a downside, but thankfully, a good fan helped keep things cooler.
